Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:
You must have and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. An in-depth understanding of virtualisation technologies (ie HyperV, VMWare, Nutanix)Effective communication and analytical skills are required

We have an opportunity on one of our Defence engagements focussed on Cyber Resilience, to join as an Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on virtualisation technologies. This role provides a significant contribution to enhancing overall capacity to meet the information technology needs of the program.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures of virtualisation technologies Contribute to the planning and implementation of infrastructure maintenance changes, routines and updates. Uses infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics. Configuration of tools and/or scripts to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure. Create and maintain operational proceduresIdentify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
