We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Infrastructure Lead to join our EMEA IT Infrastructure team. This role demands a professional with a strong background in network and server systems management to ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT operations across the region. The successful candidate will be the point of reference for all infrastructure-related matters, including but not limited to server deployment, network architecture, network integration, and continuous system performance optimization.
The IT infrastructure lead can also be involved in various types of projects not related to infrastructures: store opening, events, support and end users related.
The Infrastructure Lead will report directly to the EMEA IT Infrastructure Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a high-availability network and server infrastructure that supports organizational needs while ensuring security and compliance standards.
- Implement technical solutions as per Tiffany standards and guidelines.
- Act as the regional technical authority on all aspects of the network and server infrastructure domains.
- Offer support in resolving escalated incidents/tasks assigned to the EMEA team relating to network or server issues.
- Monitor system performance metrics and KPIs; analyze trends to inform improvements or upgrades required for maintaining optimal infrastructure health.
- Foster innovation by researching emerging technologies that could enhance infrastructure resilience and performance, lead adoption where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager on vendor relationships to guarantee service delivery meets company expectations; manage contracts effectively.
- Lead infrastructure projects from conception through completion at the regional level, including defining scope of work (SOW), budgeting, vendor evaluation/negotiation, execution oversight, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical issues impacting network or server systems; ensure rapid resolution to minimize impact on business operations.
- Work collaboratively on diverse projects across functions; be the go-to expert for all matters pertaining to IT infrastructure within cross-functional initiatives.
- Generate comprehensive documentation including HLD/LLD, technical guides, best practices policies, end-user help materials, etc.
- Based on business requirements and team workload : be involved in various type of projects : store openings, events, support, end users related.
Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements
- Bac +3 or Bac +5 in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructures with proven records.
- Experience in multinational companies preferably within retail industry contexts is highly valued.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL frameworks alongside practical experience implementing its principles in an enterprise setting.
- Expertise in deploying and managing complex networks (WAN/LAN), server environments (including virtualization), data storage solutions, cloud services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), cybersecurity measures etc.
- Proficiency and knowledge with relevant tools/technos is mandatory, including but not limited to Meraki, Cisco Catalyst Velocloud, Infoblox, Vmware, Service Now, Zscaler, Palo Alto.
- Communication Skills:Ability to articulate complex technical concepts into layman's terms when interacting with non-tech savvy stakeholders. Must demonstrate competence in both French and English (C2 level).
-Leadership qualities demonstrated by previous experience leading teams towards achieving strategic goals. Strong project management skills are crucial along with adaptability required for functioning effectively within dynamic environments without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
