Position Overview
We are looking for an Infrastructure Manager to join our IT team in our Philadelphia Office and oversee the design, deployment, and management of our IT infrastructure and cloud services. You will have extensive experience in general IT support, infrastructure, and Azure. You will also be responsible for ensuring the performance and availability of our IT environment while driving innovation and aligning IT services with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and networking. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure systems. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, addressing issues proactively. Lead infrastructure and cloud projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget.Azure Services:
Architect, implement, and manage Azure solutions to support business objectives. Implement and manage Azure resources such as virtual machines and networking components.Collaboration and Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for complex technical issues. Collaborate with other departments to align IT infrastructure and cloud services with business needs. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP) for both on-premises and cloud environments. Conduct regular DR/BCP testing to ensure preparedness for potential disruptions.Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure and cloud computing. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation within the IT department. Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers as necessary.Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, IT, or related field with 15+ years of relevant experience. Expertise in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, including Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, M365, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc. Advanced networking experience supporting a multi-office WAN environment, including designing, implementing, and maintaining WAN infrastructure and network security. Strong PowerShell scripting skills for task automation and large-scale environment management. Experience with SCCM/Intune for application deployment and OSD. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes. Familiarity with ITIL and experience working with ITSM systems for incident tracking and management. Experience with engineering, CAD, and design applications is desirable. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, committed to staying updated on industry developments. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams. IT certifications or industry-relevant training is advantageous. Valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.Work Conditions:
