About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

Purpose

The Infrastructure Manager implements, manages, and supports all data center infrastructure, including data center networking and storage, virtualization platforms, and server/application management. This role troubleshoots Citrix VDI and/or user profile management issues, while performing routine maintenance/patching on application servers and data center components.

Job Specific

Manage and support Citrix VDI/Apps environment for LHUO Campus (9 sites)Manage and support Ivanti User Workspace Management environment, consisting of user profile data and group policy administrationCollaborate with Helpdesk personnel and IT system owners to support 24x7 hotel operationsParticipate in rotating after-hours support schedule along with the rest of the IT managersTravel across LHUO Campus (9 sites) to troubleshoot issues or implement systemsMonitor and maintain functionality of data center components, including servers and networkComplete security patching and risk remediation for application servers, data center systemsFollow change management process to plan, document, and execute system upgrades, changes, and decommissionsCreate system documentation and guides for critical data center processes and systemsLead infrastructure technology projects for enterprise endpoint hardware/software upgrades (desktops/tablets/thin-clients/smartphones)Manage and support Linux and Windows operating systems (server/desktop)Troubleshooting applications and services/protocols across all OSI layersCreate and maintain network/systems technical documentationRegular attendance in conformance with standardsMay be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needsRequired to attend all training sessions and meetingsAbility to perform “Physical Requirements” Other duties as assigned

Required

Possessing knowledge and expertise with:Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp, XenDesktop)Virtualization technologies, from host to virtualized machine management and administration (VMWare, Citrix)Network load-balancers (Citrix ADC/NetScaler)Data network architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocolsMS Office (focus on Visio, Word and Excel)Strong customer-focus, meeting business users’ requirementsSelf-starter, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and overnights

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required

Experience:  Minimum of 3 years prior work experience required with: Datacenter networks (Cisco Nexus), Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) technologies, Network, Business-class networks, using industry standard hardware (Cisco, Brocade, HPE)

Licenses or Certificates:  Citrix Certified Associate–Apps and Desktops, or equivalent hands-on experience; Cisco and/or CompTIA Network certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
