BAT Fiedler & Lundgren are extending the IT team in our Malmö with an IT specialist.
Our local team currently consists of 4 people/roles: IT Service Level Manager, IT Business Analyst, IT Infrastructure Specialist, and IT Support Engineer. Our team manages and supports the office and factory users in the Malmö factory, in close cooperation with BAT’s global IT teams and external partners.
BAT Fiedler & Lundgren are currently on a journey of digitalization of the factory. It started with the implementation of a new SCADA system in 2020, BAT’s global SAP system in 2022 and now Track & Trace in 2024. During the next years we will embark on a journey of implementing a factory MES system, expanding our Cyber Security systems (in collaboration with our OT partners) and preparing for Cloud migration.
We are extending the team to be able to support the upcoming projects and with the business-as-usual operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing and supporting a variety of applications, databases and OS (Windows Server) with the support of our Local and Global Partners.Managing and supporting systems on the factory’s shop floor. This can be handheld scanners, label printers, custom built applications, etc.Participate in/lead projects involving IT applications. Collaborate with our infrastructure team to prepare changes needed for new application implementation. I. e. changes in routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless LAN controllers. Our network infrastructure is delivered and supported by our global partners, and you will therefore work closely with them.Together with our team, provide and maintain safe, secure, performant, and reliable Server and application environments, enabling the delivery of business objectives and goals.Proactively identifying, recommending, and improving ways of working in deployment of Servers and Applications, supporting, and delivering continuous service improvements across IT, the business and end users.Ensure that patching of more than 75 virtual windows servers is done on time and tests are executed and documented accordingly.Be part of our 24x7 On-Call Support team activating our SLAs to solve production critical incidents.Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.What are we looking for?

+5 years’ IT experience in an automated production/factory environment.+3 years’ experience in setting up Microsoft SQL Servers and maintaining them as DB Admin.A good understanding and experience in Network Security and Wireless NetworksA good understanding and experience in Windows Servers.A good understanding and experience in Application Support.Experience in effectively managing a range of tasks and priorities.Good Self-Management skills.Good communication & Interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate in both the technical and Business arena.Confidence and resilienceHigh level of fluency in both Swedish and EnglishA good understanding and experience in SAP, MES, SCADA and similar is a plus.+2 years’ experience of working in a global environmentThe workplace
The workplace is at Stenåldersgatan 23 in Malmö.
It consists of a factory that runs 24x7 and an office area. Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-16:00 with flexible hours.
