Hexcel is currently seeking an IT Intern for our Salt Lake City, UT, Fibers USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Set up and install new PC hardware/software following departmental procedures and standards.Perform routine IT tasks such as server backups, managing network user IDs, and email accounts.Record hardware faults and coordinate with third-party maintenance for repairs and routine maintenance.Provide exceptional customer service while managing daily IT operations and critical situations.Collaborate with other IT departments or vendors to escalate and resolve issues.Raise incident notifications and work on service restoration.Document user issues and troubleshooting steps clearly.Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to improve processes and documentation.

 Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).Previous IT support experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of PC hardware technology, maintenance, and repair.Familiarity with current Windows OS applications, servers, workstations, and MS Office suite. Experience with Microsoft Server Manager Console is preferred.Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to give clear and concise instructions.Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 products (SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and proactive problem-solving approach.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within strict operational boundaries and procedures.
