IT Intern - Asset Disposal

Our Asset Disposal Team is looking for an IT Intern to join the team in our Florence, KY Warehouse.

Essential Responsibilities

Ensure that all disposed items containing company information are sanitized or destroyed.

Process all disposable items received from business units are appropriately processed into the system and tagged accordingly.

Document any changes to items throughout the disposal process.

Wipe sensitive information from company items received.

Physically remove drives from devices (desktops, laptops, tablets).

Reimage viable items for potential internal resale.

Resale items to internal customers.

Load skids for recyclers to collect.

Follow processes, document resolutions, and add to our knowledgebase when resolution is achieved.

Maintain an organized workspace.

Operate independently while assisting customers and other support teams involving issue resolution and problem solving.

Learn other functions within the IT Helpdesk as time allows.

Job Requirements

Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with a major in such areas as business administration, finance, economics, statistics, communications, or risk management and insurance

An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Must be available to work 40 hours in the summer and 10-20 hours while in school.
