Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Job Responsibilities: Acting as a Finance Functional analyst to support Various Project implementation in the Client Services Business unit. Main area of responsibility is to support all financials processes linked to Service Management business (for a manufacturing Industry). This is Service Contract based business including Revenu recognition models, Result Analysis and Settlement related processes . Support all areas of controlling . Specifically Product Costing, cost object controlling, Profitability analysis, budgeting and planning, cost center and Internal order accounting and its integration with COPA and BI/BW Able to manage business processes re-design during business blueprint and realization phases. Participate and supporte integration testing cycle with the ability to resolve defects in the area of responsibility. Support and execute data conversion and cutover activities Delivery and support end user training Understand the projects business requirements and timelines and have the ability to drive closure of design issues to meet the projects go live dates. MUST have: Expertise in SAP Controling, and specifically in Product Costing & COPA . Expertise in Revenu recognition processing and the different Billing models (Time Based, milestone Based / Fix or Variable Billing...) Excellent understanding and exposure to the Service Business related business processes ( in a Manufacturing Industry) , and the related end to end system processes. i.e. Service contract / Service Order to Rev Recognition. Expertise on all Controlling components / related processes & cost objects: ( i.e. Single Object Controlling, Configurations for : Internal Orders, ActivityType, Result Analysis, settlements rules) Knowldege and exposure to Project system Finance integration Knowledge of CATS processing and its integration with service related Processes/Transactions Ability to work with Technical analyst for implementation of non SAP Standard solution . ( User Exit, ABAP related development.) The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be an effective team player in a global company. Must be service minded and user oriented. Flexible: Must be willing to adapt the work schedule to allow at a minimum 2 overlapping hours with Santa Clara (4pm Pacific to 6pm Pacific or 8am Pacific to 10am Pacific). Strongly preferred: Thorough expertise of FI/CO integration point with non Financial SAP module such Sales and distribution , Contract Management, Customer Service, Material management, Plant Maintenance Exposure to SAP CRM, CRM Service, C4C, CPQ and S/4 HANA would be a significant plus. Experience in implementing Data Analytics solutions such as SAP BI/Business Objects ( BOBJ) and Tableu. Several exposure to FI/CO rollout in the areas of Product Costing, Manufacturing Costing, Profit Center Accounting and COPA for a Manufacturing Industry. Experience in participating and supporting integration testing cycle. Experience in data conversion Experience in SQL query and Data warehouse connector ex. Power BI. Nice to Have: Accounting/ Financial Background: i.e. Experience in a Finance related position or/and Business certification. Experience with Data Archiving Experience in Delivering SAP FI/CO end user training
