Job DescriptionThe IT Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing first- and second-level support for standard OT services, as well as day-to-day operational support and maintenance of systems on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems in an operational, efficient, and secure manner.
Provide hardware and software support for production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate closely with the IT Coordinator on OT-related activities.
Ensure the standardization and implementation of security measures, including antivirus deployment, security patching, and installation of Windows OS according to the latest Continental standards.
Manage and support key Continental tools and systems such as QIP, BMC, Active Directory, Ivanti, and Acronis.
Maintain cybersecurity across all managed devices and OT systems, aligning with internal security policies.
Keep accurate records of hardware inventories and ensure proper asset management within the OT scope.
QualificationsBachelor's degree: Information Technology Technician, Computer Systems Technician.Basic English.Experience:Working in IT/OT Services and application support.With troubleshooting to production floor equipment, upgrading systems both locally and remotely.Experience with both hardware and software components of production equipment remotely.Knowledge:Windows, Linux operative systems.Cybersecurity tools, Antivirus , Backup and Recovery Systems.Basic Computer Networks and IPv4.IT Ticket Management System.Additional InformationContinental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
