Mission/Job Scope:

Leslie's, the leading and most trusted direct-to-consumer brand in the U.S. pool and spa care industry since 1963, is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Enterprise Applications to join our growing team.

In this pivotal role, you'll participate in the strategic migration of our ERP system from a legacy on-premises solution to a modern, cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. You'll contribute to the entire process, from project execution through post-launch stabilization and ongoing support. You'll leverage your expertise to lead both technical and functional specialists, cultivate strong partnerships across the organization and with technology partners, and ensure the successful deployment and ongoing optimization of this critical technology initiative.

Responsibilities

Optimize Accounting Workflows: Conduct a thorough analysis of existing workflows, collaborate with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements within the D365 platform. Configure & Customize for Efficiency: Leverage your D365 expertise to tailor the system to meet specific accounting requirements. This includes streamlining workflows, reports, dashboards, and implementing system upgrades for continuous improvement. Bridge the Gap Between Business & Technology: Elicit and document business needs from accounting stakeholders, translate them into actionable configuration and development specifications, and maintain clear documentation for ongoing reference. Empower Users Through Training & Support: Develop and deliver training materials to equip accounting staff with the knowledge and skills to leverage D365 effectively. Provide ongoing support by troubleshooting issues, liaising for enhancements, and ensuring user satisfaction. Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Work with Leslie’s analytics team to extract and analyze accounting data to generate insightful reports and dashboards for informed decision-making. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for further process improvement through data analysis. Ensure Compliance & Mitigate Risks: Implement and maintain internal controls within D365 to guarantee adherence to accounting regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and support internal/external audits with comprehensive documentation. Project Management and Leadership: Manage project partners and IT vendors to ensure on-time and under-budget delivery. Track and report key project metrics to measure performance and success. May involve the leadership of on/offsite consultants and IT teams as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ERP Expertise (8+ years): Demonstrated success in implementing and supporting ERP systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Retail & Wholesale Industry Knowledge (3+ years preferred): Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities within the consumer business landscape, including retail and wholesale sectors. Proficiency in Modern Technology Stack: Expertise in integration tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Functions. Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage solutions (Blob, Queue, and Table storage). Advanced experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Skilled in programming languages and tools, including X++, C#, T-SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and SQL for system configuration and customization. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and the Data Management Framework (DMF). Data-Driven Problem Solver: Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills to extract insights, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement. Effective Communicator and Collaborator: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to bridge the gap between technical and business teams while fostering collaboration across cross-functional groups. Agile Methodology Practitioner: Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies to promote efficient project execution and iterative improvements. Proficient in tools like Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, and JIRA for task and sprint management.
