Overview of the Role

As IT Manager, PMO–Learning & Performance Support at Saputo, you are part of the team responsible for enabling change for large-scale, complex enterprise systems implementations and smaller IT initiatives, which impact end users in Australia, Argentina, Canada, USA, and the United Kingdom.

Learning & Performance Support is an essential ingredient in our integrated change management approach. You and your team of internal and external resources contribute to our success by planning, developing, and executing learning experiences pre-Go Live and in support of end user competency and sustained performance over the long term.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

Reporting to the IT Director, PMO – Change Management & Communications, you set the tone for IT Learning and Performance Support globally. Your work includes:

Understanding the complex dynamic and fast-paced nature of defining and managing learning deliverables and activities for concurrent IT projects and/or large-scale ERP implementationsBuilding strong relationships with the change management team, cross-functional project teams, and divisional and global business teams, as part of the recipe for delivering successful outcomesCreating and/or guiding your team to create innovative, engaging, and relevant learning deliverables in support of enhancing the learner experienceCoordinating and managing all stages of instructional design, development, and delivery, including learning needs analysis, strategy development, curriculum and learning path design, content development, approvals workflows, translation, delivery support, KPI reporting, end-user performance support, and ongoing learning materials maintenanceEvaluating and adjusting learning plans and deliverables to support end-user go live and sustainment learning requirements in alignment with solution build and realizing intended business benefitsOverseeing learning logistics coordination for programs/projectsOverseeing learning infrastructure readiness to support deliverables development, execution, and performanceContributing to annual and ad hoc project planning by providing detailed estimation of effort/development ratios, internal/external resourcing forecast, development tool, translation costs, learning environment, and budget requirements during project planningActing as the point of contact for learning requests, feedback, and suggestions. Escalating risks/ issues and providing mitigation options in a timely mannerEstablishing learning metrics, tracking and providing timely reports on deliverables status, participation rates, learning evaluation results, and sustainment competency/performance. Establishing reciprocal feedback loops and other mechanisms to provide inputs for performance supportEstablishing and monitoring quality standards in collaboration with the Director and IT leadershipRefining the Saputo IT Learning and Development Strategy as part of continuous improvement and aligning with leading practice, including approach, tools, and processesDevising 3-year strategic roadmap for IT Learning & Performance Support. Actively driving the evolution of the change management department by contributing ideas and making improvement suggestionsDeveloping annual budget forecastCollaborating with the Director, Change Management and Communications and the Manager, Change Management to maintain a holistic approach to team and deliverables managementLeading and inspiring your team using coaching and collaboration to enable mutual respect, open communication, and high performance.Managing team dynamics, building unity, and maintaining a respectful work environment. Required Skills and QualificationsMinimum bachelor’s degree in relevant program (e.g. education, English, human resources, organizational development, information technology, business, etc.) or equivalent work experienceMinimum 8 years’ experience leading complex SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) training programsMinimum 5 years’ experience as an instructional designerDemonstrated understanding of the significance of an integrated change management approach, which incorporates business readiness, communications, and learningBusiness knowledge acquired through cross-functional exposure, including Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or LogisticsExperience in managing team and team member performance in a hybrid work environmentExperience in designing ERP curriculaExperience in designing learning experiences and enabling performance supportExperience in evaluating learning effectivenessExperience in training schedule and infrastructure management, including training environment and logisticsDemonstrated ability in system and business process analysisExcellent time management and organizational skills, with a detail and deadline-oriented focus Proficiency in managing to a project planExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task and manage competing priorities under pressure                  Ability to work independently and as part of leadership and delivery teams                     Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExpert-level proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Advanced understanding of SharePoint functionality and potential for supporting learning architecture, deliverables development and sharing        Advanced proficiency in courseware authoring and learning solution tools, e.g. Articulate 360, Vyond

As part of their duties, the incumbent will communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec and the rest of Canada, North and South America, the UK, and Australia.

SALARY RANGE: $88,325 - $115,930

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
