The Regional Applications Manager, reporting to the IT Director - Regional Support, plays an integral role managing a diverse set of business critical applications across multiple business functions. The candidate will provide strategic, technical and operational leadership for a set of SaaS, COTS, and custom developed applications. This includes managing a team, and 3rd party vendors, to provide day-to-day support and delivery of enhancement requests.
The candidate brings strong business acumen to work with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and bring value to the business. The candidate thrives within a global context collaborating with IT teams locally and around the world.
In addition, the Regional Applications IT manager will develop an applications roadmap to initiate projects that will ensure the sustainment of these applications, including migrating to standard technologies where applicable. The candidate is at ease planning and managing projects, as managing financials and allocating resources across operational and project activities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and reporting skills, along with strong finance, forecasting, and resource allocation capabilities. This role involves expertly coordinating a portfolio of projects driven by both regional and global requirements.

The Application Systems Manager will provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for all non-SAP systems and processes within Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA). This includes leading dedicated staff and third parties to achieve agreed business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all projects, ensuring they are managed or allocated effectively and adhere to Saputo standards in resource management, finance, reporting, demand, and closure.Continuous Improvement: Identify project and continuous improvement (CI) opportunities to reduce reliance on custom code by implementing supported Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) industry best practice solutions.Resource Coordination: Assign and manage resources across all projects, including onboarding and offboarding consultants/contractors, and training incoming contractors to ensure adherence to Saputo project practices.PMO Alignment: Align with the core global PMO team through a dotted line to the Corporate Function, ensuring adherence and compliance with core PMO principles.Budget Management: Track project budget actuals and forecasts, ensuring alignment with SDA regional cash flow and Saputo core accounting practices.Demand Management: Manage demand intake, project team allocation, project management, and financial closure of projects.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Participate in and develop projects for continuous improvement initiatives.BAU Management: Manage and coordinate Business As Usual (BAU) activities, problem-solving, vendor management, and service delivery.Heritage Systems Management: Ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day management of SDA's Heritage Systems.Application and DB Maintenance: Safeguard SDA's investment through proactive management of application and database maintenance and life cycles.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key business stakeholders on the prioritization and delivery of BAU incidents and changes, conducting meetings with customers to determine application requirements.Solution Development: Drive the identification, definition, development, and implementation of solutions that add value, and ensuring appropriate security for solutions and processes.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentor team members in best practice application development lifecycle.Vendor Management: Manage all aspects of vendor engagement.Project Transition: Receive project work back into BAU support.Out of Hours Support: Provide out-of-hours support coverage for business-critical applications.Operational and Strategic Initiatives: Develop and deliver operational and strategic initiatives within the IT application domain.What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience working with Manufacturing IT systems, MES, small/mid ERP (Pronto experience optional, preferred), logistics and fleet management systems, payment systems (e.g., MADCAP experience optional), custom code (GIT/Azure exposure is desirable), and a high-level understanding of infrastructure IT/OT.Proven experience in managing IT projects.Strong communication and reporting skills.Excellent finance, forecasting, and resource allocation capabilities.Experience in managing a team and indirect matrix management to other IT areasStrong business acumen, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or dairy processing environmentsDeveloped leadership skills and ability to develop the team & drive engagementRelevant industry experience in IT Manufacturing systems, Logistics Transport Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Execution SystemsWe’ll support you with:
