POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Operations Manager is responsible to manage the IT Department and all programs and systems utilized within the facility.  These systems include but are not limited to Ignition, CMS, and Funnel Cloud.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with 5 years work-related experience in a similar position; Minimum 5-10 years experience. Experience in automotive manufacturing environment is desired. Extensive hands on experience with the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and support of application hardware, software and security systems. Strong technical background with an emphasis on the administration of operating systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and complex TCP/IP networks Experience implementing and supporting third-party applications including server, client and upgrades.  Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and with a variable workload; Strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work flexible hours to meet customer demand Demonstrate a maturity of judgement, leadership skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills Able to appreciate and maintain proper level of confidentiality, using discretion and tact.

 

DUTIES:

Maintain the ignition & Funnel Cloud based plant reporting systems and make enhancements as requested by the plant. Evaluate new hardware, software, and systems and assist in setting and enforcing company standards Provide on-call availability in case of a work-related emergency that requires your immediate attention. Create, monitor and manage the IT budget Manage the helpdesk support, new team member onboarding & network accounting Manage projects to ensure that development target dates are being met, and that the internal customer is being informed of the status. All other duties as assigned
