Job DescriptionHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manage and coordinate all IT activities for the plant and ensures plant IT strategy is in accordance with the BA ITTranslate plant IT strategy into action plans and ensure implementationEnsure the achievement of IT targets according to internal and external customer expectationsManage the budget and forecast of IT cost centers and control investments for IT equipment (e.g. servers, network infrastructure, software, etc.), manages department KPI'sInitiate and implement continuous improvement activities and projectsEnsure the development of the IT teamCoordinate with external and internal IT suppliers (e.g. SLA contract monitoring, purchasing, etc.) operating local plant IT infrastructure according to standards to ensure optimal local service provisioningEnsure operation, support and maintenance of plant IT infrastructure (software, clients and servers, IT service desk, desktop, server and mail service management, network and other physical equipment as e.g. printers, scanners, etc.) according to standards and implement a contingency planTHE ENVIRONMENT
This role is within a climate-controlled facility. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as safety glasses, steel or composite toe shoes, and in limited cases hearing protection. QualificationsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information/Computer Science, Engineering or equivalentExperience: 5+ years IT experienceTechnical Skills:Expert: IT systems and infrastructure (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 11, Windows Server, Camera systems)Advanced: Project management skills, tools and techniques; Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques; Communication techniques (incl. presentation, change management, negotiation and conflict resolution techniques)Basic: Manufacturing related technologies, systems, infrastructures, standards and processes; Quality management (including quality policies, systems and processes)Ability to work with international teams on IT topicsAbility to travel domestically to support other locations within ContinentalVisa sponsorship for Continental Employees onlyADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
