Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead their IT Asset Management (ITAM) efforts, with a primary focus on hardware asset management (HAM) and a transition into software asset management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing asset management processes, including tracking devices, setting up recovery processes, and ensuring proper data security for critical hardware assets. Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee hardware asset management processes, including inventory, deployment, recovery, and provisioning of devices (e.g., mobile phones, hotspots, 2-way radios) * Collaborate with the team to track and manage 30k+ daily assets, ensuring effective asset lifecycle management * Oversee desktop support activities, including renovations and the reinstallation of equipment for new builds/expansions * Take advantage of new ServiceNow updates to enhance workflows and streamline processes within the asset management team * Move into the software asset management space, developing processes to track and manage software assets * Lead and mentor the hardware and desktop teams, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with business priorities * Act as a subject matter expert in ITAM processes and provide guidance to junior team members to identify skill gaps and provide learning opportunities * Work closely with systems and network teams to ensure seamless integration of asset management systems * Drive the shift from a transactional to a service-oriented mindset within the organization, ensuring clear communication and effective leadership
