**IT Manager at Digital Experience Hearing Department** You will support the Backend team within the Digital Experience Hearing department. Here you will be working with a team of approximately 12 references, Backend Developers and DevOps Engineers, located in Poland and Denmark, primarily working within operational scrum teams. You will in addition be collaborating closely with a main Backend Tech Lead, peers and stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive approach to solutions, team dynamics, and project delivery. **The team you will be part of:** The Digital Experience team is responsible for developing and maintaining a diverse range of customer-facing services and solutions that enhance our Hearing business digitally. You will be part of a highly skilled team, primarily distributed between Poland and Denmark. Your primary work location will be our office in Warsaw, where you will engage with team members and relevant colleagues across the organization. In collaboration with your peers and the department head, your focus will be on attracting, developing, and retaining skilled professionals while continuously optimizing our workflows and the value we deliver. **Your contribution is appreciated, and you will cater to:** + **Team Operations and Development** : Oversee daily team functions through regular one-on-one meetings, setting clear targets and personal development plans for each member. This involves motivating and supporting their professional growth and skills enhancement and creating an inclusive environment at GN, ensuring all team members are valued and engaged, regardless of their physical location. + **Resource Management and Collaboration** : Strategically plan and manage team resources, focusing on recruitment, retention, and transitions. Collaborate closely with key colleagues, including the Backend Tech Lead, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Manager, to ensure alignment and effective teamwork. + **Conflict Resolution and Communication** : Address conflicts and problems promptly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow. Communicate decisions clearly and timely to all relevant stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust. + **General enhancements and Administrative Support** : Support departmental and platform initiatives in broad terms, examples being process optimization and monitoring cloud solution consumption. Provide essential administrative assistance, such as ordering IT equipment and approving contractor invoices. **To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have:** + Bachelor’s degree or above. + Extensive line management experience, especially in a relevant functional area. + Background in IT, or alternatively, software engineering. + Experience with agile development methodologies. + Fluency in English, both written and spoken. + Open and comfortable working within a cross-cultural and distributed environment. + A willingness to contribute to continuous improvement, particularly by setting an example. + Availability for occasional business trips, primarily to Denmark. **Further, it is desirable if you also have:** + Background in servant management. + Familiarity with budget management, and P L. **We encourage you to apply** Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferrable skills.
