As the Manager of IT Collaborations and Workplace Solutions, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and executing strategies for a team tasked with leading IT Collaboration and workplace solutions and tools. Responsible for connecting the business internally and externally across our Global organization. This pivotal role involves providing direct management to a team of professionals, encompassing mentoring, performance management, and staffing.
What you'll be doing
Oversees support and planning for detailed ongoing requirements for Microsoft 365 implementation.
Support workspace solutions, including all meeting solutions such as meeting rooms and large event rooms (virtual and physical)
Accountable on supporting & monitoring email system; performs quality and spot checks of system performance.
Contract management experience managing license usage, license budget, and mission critical support contracts, etc.
Experience and exposure in Global Corporate strategies with close alignment with BRMs and MRMs.
Lead negotiations with internal and external (vendor) parties for global collaboration tools.
Understands and assures conformance to ITL SLA and MSP management.
May participate in or manage quality assessments of internal operations and suppliers to analyze compliance and assess risk.
Interacts frequently with subordinate supervisors and functional peer group managers.
Identifies and manages continuous improvement projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvements.
Develops budget for a section or department and ensures adherence to the budget.
Manages the coaching, training and development of subordinates.
Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Ensure IT audits are completed without any repeated findings or concerns.
Act as critical issue point when required for the coordination with GIT, functional groups and outside vendors/contractors of the troubleshooting and resolution of sophisticated issues.
Build and maintain positive relationships with business users, senior leaders and functions such as (but not limited to) Finance, Legal, HR and Procurement
Manage IT budgets for the Hub region and performance against plan.
In collaboration with Legal manage IT contracts (draft, signature, renewal and termination)
Oversees Messaging & Collaboration Engineers that provide technical expertise and recommendations for configuration management and IT applications in response to projects and business needs.
Understands Identity management for multiple applications and sub-systems in relationship to user provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
10+ years of IT infrastructure management experience.
Office 365 (SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams)
Microsoft Exchange On-line, Exchange On-line Protection, Data Loss Protection (DLP) and DMARC Management & SMTP MailRelays
Cisco ESA/SMA and Proofpoint (desirable)
Identify and recommend technology best practices in the currently evolving environment & help stabilize the environment by applying industry standard best practices.
Licensing or Certifications for Collaboration Manager (desirable)
Thorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations and standards.
Experience leading IT personnel and external service providers.
Able to effectively communicate with upper management.
Knowledgeable of hardware and software solutions
Availability for off-hour calls and systems work.
Experience working with Collaboration and workplace solutions in manufacturing environments.
Must be a collaborator, possess outstanding customer service skills and be self-motivated.
Acts with a sense of urgency, illustrates ambition and drives for completion of tasks and projects.
Must be able to initiate and develop creative solutions that are cost effective and supportable.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Demonstrate leadership competencies such as: effective planning, motivating, and developing staff and building effective teams.
Strategic thinking and the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Global Collaboration tools and solutions.
