Detailed Job Description: 8 plus years of hands on experience in Release Management. 8 Plus years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, TFS, Jira, HP ALM, ServiceNow and DevOps tool and process, Knowledge of software development lifecycle specifically Agile processes. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward release completion, Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skill, Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Negotiate, plan, and manage all release activities, Gatekeeping various branches, Ensuring all necessary dependencies are in place for a release (Content, config, release order, cross team, etc), Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time, Occasionally cherry-picking commits and releasing hotfixes. Manage customer relationship when it comes to release timing and expectations incl. release details and schedules to the Business as required, Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business Go/No-Go reviews, If any issues during the approval process, coordinate either a strategy for appealing rejections or modifying the build to address the issues. Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges, Continually work towards making improvements in the release process, Regular release reporting and Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists, Research new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs.
