Key Responsibilities:\nResponsibility for the 24/7 functionality of all IT networks and systems in the hotel and staff accommodation\nGeneral IT: e.g. configuring software and hardware, setting up networks\nSoftware engineering: e.g. creating various programmes for specific applications\nAdministration of the IT infrastructure (e.g. multimedia systems, printers, internet server, telephone system, back ups etc.)\nUser support\nMonitoring data security in accordance with the GDPR - in collaboration with the data protection specialist\nResponsibility for cyber security in close consultation with the Head Office \nEnsuring compliance with PCI standards and checking them during penetration tests \nImplementation of IT security measures and compliance tasks \nInitiating, implementing and further developing new projects\nCreating budgets, forecasts and reports\nYou are the first point of contact for all IT-related topics internally in the hotel and externally to the head office, partners and suppliers\nTeam responsibility for another team member\nTaking on Manager on Duty duties in the hotel (deputising for the hotel management in their absence)\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:\nSuccessfully completed vocational training in the IT sector or university degree\nProfessional experience in a comparable position\nProfessional experience in the international luxury hotel industry desirable, as active in the operational area\nExperience with Opera hotel software and Oracle Simphony desirable\nStructured, solution-oriented work, with good prioritisation skills\nVery good organisational and analytical skills\nAffinity for numbers, budgets and reports desirable\nHands-on mentality\nVery good knowledge of German and English\n
