Job Description: *** Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph *** Summary This position provides leadership in the organization or functional area and is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the direction of a department, function, or project. The position requires the application of knowledge gained from experience and expertise to the job duties and responsibilities. The position will make decisions in areas that may impact the organization and its employees, clients, budgets, policies, procedures, work practices, or compliance programs. Scope The Senior Manager role is to plan, coordinate, direct, and design Information Technology (IT) activities, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities for both classified and unclassified facilities management related network systems and equipment, process improvement within these systems and integration of the processes and systems across all sites . This Sr Manager is responsible for both internal Fluor IT operations and those IT responsibilities for a customer as assigned by that customer under the scope of the contract. The Sr. Manager maintains 100%uptime of systems and ensures that redundant systems are at optimal performance to avoid impact to the mission. The Sr. Manager defines and implements IT policies, procedures, and best practices within designated IT area. This role manages a team of professionals, utilizing excellent operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities • Allocate resources; manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of designated IT solutions • Execute IT projects, including conceptualizing, organizing, planning, and anticipating project needs • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT solutions • May negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements • Work with stakeholders to define business solutions and requirements for technology enhancement implementations • Implement clear IT project management techniques and processes • Perform or advise with problem analysis, structured analysis, and solution design techniques • Develop and ensure business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives • Keep abreast of IT trends, technologies, and strategies for potential impact and advantages to the business • Evaluate and recommend changes in procedures when necessary • Educate customers on IT standards and procedures and gain customer understanding of those standards • Actively participate in and encourage process improvements • Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities ,and timely performance feedback • Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action • Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards • Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies • Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job • May need to travel to attend to address issues at other sites under the contract • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality • Other duties as assigned #Intel Job ID: 148575BR City: Aurora State: Colorado Country: United States We are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
