He/she assists with backup and disaster recovery procedures, ensures network performance and security, and provides system support across different platforms. **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Execute routine backup operations in the data center and assist in applying disaster recovery procedures within the assigned scope. Participate in periodic testing and updates to ensure plan accuracy. - Support the configuration and maintenance of infrastructure components, including routers, switches, servers, and cabling, with a focus on availability, security, and performance. - Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and tools by conducting basic research and preparing findings for review. Contribute to proof-of-concept activities under supervision. - Provide technical support and guidance to users for issues related to networking, software, operating systems, and hardware. Help in preparing user-friendly technical documentation and guides. - Perform routine system and infrastructure checks to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and security protocols. Help identify and report issues or risks for escalation. - Coordinate with service providers and vendors to ensure timely resolution of infrastructure-related issues and support the procurement of required IT components. - Monitor system performance and network traffic using appropriate tools. Identify and log issues or anomalies for further investigation and resolution. **Qualifications** **LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS** **Language Proficiency** - Fluency in English. **Technical Skills** - Experience in managing and deploying Windows and Linux operating systems, including Active Directory administration. - Proficiency in managing routers, switches, wireless and firewall. - Proficiency in virtualization technologies. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. **EDUCATION** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science, or a related field.
