Prysmian IT Function is on the lookout for a dynamic IT Network Security Engineer, specializing in Network Delivery and IT Operations to join us in our HQ in Milan!

Your Key Responsibilities:
Resource Coordination: Lead and coordinate internal and external resources, including Local IT teams, in collaboration with Local IT Managers.
Project & AMS Delivery: Oversee the delivery of AMS and projects in your area, focusing on WAN, LAN, and IT Security. Work closely with IT Business Partners and HQ Business Team Leaders to ensure seamless governance.
Incident Management: Be the go-to person for major service incidents. Prioritize service restoration and impact communication, chair post-incident reviews, and manage follow-up actions.
Documentation & Training: Develop and execute testing documentation, create training materials, and conduct training sessions.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional decisions with other team leaders to ensure cohesive operations.
Who We're Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in second/third-level security support, with processes aligned to ITIL best practices.
Leadership: Ability to manage projects and operations, interacting with local and top managers.
Hands-On Approach: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Certifications: Mandatory CCNA, NSE4, and NSE5 certifications.
Technical Skills: At least 5 years of experience with Routing, Fortinet, Linux, FortiManager, Fortinet centralized platform, CCNP Security, SD-WAN, and VPN configuration.
Key Requirements:
Availability: 24/7 availability for critical issues.
Project Management: Strong project management skills.
Self-Motivated: A proactive attitude towards research and self-study.
Strategic Thinking: Forward-thinking and strategic planning abilities.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
Additional Certifications: NSE6 and NSE7 knowledge is highly valued.
Travel: Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
