JOB SUMMARY\n
Under limited supervision, the Network and Security Manager installs, configures, and supports the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Responsible for the availability, reliability, performance, security and maintenance of the Enterprise and SCADA network infrastructure. This includes future design, implementations and operational support for all security and network related initiatives. Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Responds to emergencies during off-hours as required.\n

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\n

Duties include but are not limited to:\n\nDesigns, implements and maintains procedures and controls necessary to ensure the protection of all GW technology system assets against intentional or inadvertent misuse, access, modification, disclosure or destruction.\nLeads and participates in network planning, design and engineering.\nDevelops and implements network and security configurations, policies, procedures, and monitoring tools to ensure reliability, security, and performance.\nMaintains up-to-date knowledge of the latest network security trends and technology, and recommends appropriate network and security products\/solutions to maintain and improve network functionality and security.\nResponsible for management of new and emerging Network Security Technology Products and support the Network Access Control technology (policy lifecycle management, device profiling and visibility, security posture checks ensuring security-compliance).\nPerforms network analysis, design, and planning activities to determine requirements; recommends network and security hardware and software, and formalizes installation\/implementation procedures. \nManages threat and vulnerability program to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities in line with policy and compliance requirements.\nManages the integration of security solutions, tools and platforms with internal systems to improve organizational security posture and maturity. \nEnsures network stability and optimal performance through maintenance and monitoring schedules, including testing of network and security devices and connectivity.\nDetermines feasibility, cost, equipment needs, and time constraints\/allocations for assigned projects.\n\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: \n
A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or a related field and experience in the information technology field to include experience in a security-focused role. Relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Must possess and maintain a valid SC driver's license.\n
Required Certifications: \n
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise (ENARSI or ENSLD), Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO) or equivalent certification required.
