The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Role Purpose

The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for overseeing an organization's computer systems, including their design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role ensures the seamless functioning and high availability of IT systems, services, and infrastructure. Supporting both operational needs and strategic initiatives. The IT Analyst will collaborate closely with Corporate IT, Plant employees, and other departments to drive IT excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Assist with Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, hardware, and software applications within the manufacturing environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve IT-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes. Conduct hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades to meet the needs of manufacturing operations. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to source and implement new technology solutions, ensuring compatibility and integration with existing systems. Provide end-user support and training on IT systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions. Experiences/Education - Required Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in IT operations in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships. Experiences/Education - Desired Experience with industry-specific systems such as Siemens Camstar, PAC, OPC, PLCs, OSI PI. Expertise in supporting applications using .NET, T-SQL, and familiarity with SSRS and PowerBI. Certifications in technical areas such as Cisco, SAP, or Microsoft. Familiarity with manufacturing systems, enterprise/client hardware, and networking.

The range for this position is $49,090.00 - $67,499.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
