Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a IT Operations Analyst to join the Legrand team in Mississauga, Ontario. The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day operational IT systems at our Mississauga site. This includes activities and technology associated in our warehouse, front office, on-site network support contact, and business applications support. The IT Operations Analyst is responsible to work directly with third party vendors to support all outsourced agreements.
What Will You Do?
1. Maintains the daily operational support for the IT systems throughout the site. This role will monitor performance, proactively look at areas for improvement and lead all issue resolution.
2. Acts as first line of support for issue resolution
3. Troubleshoot day to day issues, identify root causes, escalate as necessary
4. Supports operations to identify process changes, support business objectives and drive efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related, or equivalent combination in education and experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT. Experience in all cases will include some relevant project management experience.
Required Skills
Ability to work with and program for windows PC devices and associated equipment (Printers, Scan guns, etc.) used in the support of the business’s applications.Coordinate vendor support for repair of equipmentReprogramming of equipment as neededMaintain supplies and accessories for all on-site equipmentAdvanced PC Networking experience.Hands-on experience implementing and supporting all Business Applications systems (not including ERP).System implementation experience. Creates documentation of new processes or procedures; testing documentation; specifications or proposals; training materialsProvides hardware maintenance for printers and other devices, maintains inventory of all devices.Acts as project manager for key business initiatives where applicable.Ensures that enhancements and modifications are completely tested prior to implementing.Monitors the daily inventory of all devices and their performance over the course of a business day.Facilitates and/or participates in business improvement and change sessions (Kaizen workshops) in support of process improvement initiatives.Ensures appropriate documentation for all activities pertaining to warehouse system management, printer management, related project work, or network improvement and change management.Identifies functional gaps and determines resolutions or work-arounds.Develops conceptual design of reports & forms.On-site point of contact to assist Help Desk support personnelCompany Info
