IT Operations Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

The IT Operations Supervisor is accountable for providing day-to-day supervision of a team of IT specialists under the Thermal Group’s Luzon cluster, providing monitoring/support operations or deployment/provisioning activities for existing and future IT services (e.g., Site Server Room Maintenance, Standard Applications; VoIP, Networks/Internet, End-User Computing). He/she is responsible for providing tactical coordination and operational oversight of these services and ensuring that his/her team performs and meets the established Service Level Agreements. Integrates and consolidates the IT programs, initiatives and projects for cost efficiency and economies of scale — taking advantage of volume and size of requirements across the Thermal Group and/or enterprise-wide, i.e., 1AP or AEV-wide. Creates, reviews and cascades relevant 1AP IT or Thermal IT related policies, guidelines, procedures and work instructions. Audits IT systems/process capabilities and requirements at the cluster level. Documents agreed/approved discussions and decisions with the AVP IT and Data Management. Technical support on approved IT related projects and systems improvements/enhancements Monitors Thermal Luzon cluster assigned service desk/helpdesk tickets to assigned technicians (Luzon IT, AP IT and AEV IT) and ensure that agreed SLAs are met and complied with efficienc and quality Assists the IT Head in the budget preparation, timely submission, monitoring and timing of expense execution/consumption. Also coordinates with the Network and Security TL for budget

alignment and cost impact coming from IT operations.
• Designs the local area network for every new location or project
• Selects the appropriate hardware and related equipment.
• Recommends the appropriate service provider/ supplier and/or contractor for the hardware and
network requirements.
• For new installations: installs and configures software such as operating systems, remote access
services, productivity/collaboration tools (MS Office, Internet, DocuSign, MS
Project, e-Mail, etc.), anti-virus and other related applications
• Determines hardware and network upgrades and expansion to support growing processing
requirements for voice and data communication as well as the plant monitoring system
