IT/PC Support Intern
IT/PC Support Intern Location Company's SE Region Apply Now (https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=KEYCOOP&cws=37&rid=251) The IT/PC Support Internship is a twelve (12) week work experience. Installs, modifies and makes minor repairs to company end user computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to end users. Will work with the IT group to translate information requirements into logical, economical, and practical system designs. This person will be introduced to Key’s business technological functions and how we implement them. Employee will work directly with supervisor in order to assure that system solutions meet informational and operational needs of the business units. This will be a mobile position traveling through out the company, so a single workspace will not be assigned. A company vehicle will be available for the employee to drive between locations. Following the 12 weeks, this internship will end with no guarantee of further employment. Strong knowledge of PC’s systems, tools and applications. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of end user device operating systems, VPN connectivity, Network connectivity, E-mail software, Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
