We are looking for someone who is diverse with virtualization technology and hardware. We are looking for an individual who wants to be challenged in building scalable solutions that will assist our customers in being agile and focused on running the business. As an IT Architect/Engineer you not only have the opportunity to learn and grow with very complex multi-vendor roadmaps but to be a part of designing platform roadmaps. The ability to conceptualize and understand abstract ideas is a must. Additionally, good research and technical writing skills will be very helpful. Getting your hands dirty is a must.
Job Qualifications
Required – good base to start
3+ years of experience with Veeam Backup & Restore
3+ years of experience with hardware systems, preferred:
Dell PowerScale/Isilon
Dell PowerEdge
VMware Experience
2+ years vSphere/vCenter/vSAN
Preferred - VCP-DCV 2020 + vSAN badging
Intermediate Enterprise Networking (Cisco & SDN)
Understanding and practice of Agile/DevOps
Experience with Automating infrastructure builds / configuration management and vSphere Lifecycle management.
Cloud Knowledge (Azure /AWS)
Preferred
Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance including ITIL, PCI, and SOC
Experience / understanding of OT systems in a manufacturing environment (PLCs, HMI, MES, Ethernet/IP networks, Historians, etc.)
1+ years general of manufacturing experience/knowledge
Dell Server Certification
Specialist – Deployment engineer, PowerEdge
Experience with other VMware Products
Cloud Foundation
vRealize Operations Manager
vReallize Log Insight
vRealize Automation
vRealize Network Insight
NSX-T
Experience with other hypervisors and Cloud platforms (Hyper-V, Nutanix, other/Google, Azure, AWS)
Prior architecture experience with hyperconverged and other server infrastructure
