Job Description: \n
Responsibilities\n
The IT PA shall provide support to leadership for AFCENT A63, USCENTCOM, and HQ Air Force on analysis and development of DoD information technology, cybersecurity, and data policy, processes, and standards. The IT PA's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n
Job duties: \n\nInterpret and analyze existing and new DoD and S. Government policy for applicability and alignment to the AFCENT mission.\nAuthor specific policy documentation and memorandum applicable to AFCENT A6 mission\nSynthesize complex policy and technical matters into clear, effective policy documents written in accordance with U.S. Government \"plain language\" requirements\nCoordinate formal and informal stakeholder review and revision of AFCENT A6 policy documentation and memorandum\nParticipate, support, and represent AFCENT A6 in internal and external policy working groups and meetings\nProvide recommendations to AFCENT A6 customer on new and improved policy artifacts to improve mission enablement and delivery\nEstablish and maintain a repository of policy documentation and memorandum and develop processes for sharing new and updated information with supported units\nTrain NOSC personnel on the new and updated policies and memorandums as applicable\n Prepare briefings and reports to AFCENT leadership on policy development or major revisions\n\n
Qualifications\n\nB.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant experience; or 7 or more years relevant experience.\nITIL Foundation certified. \nActive Secret clearance required.\n\n
