Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

Lead the engagement effort at different stages from problem definition to diagnosis to solution design, development and deployment; with the objective of providing high quality and value adding consulting solution to customers within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys Problem Definition: Participate in discussions to understand and analyze problems faced by the customer, gather data and provide suggestions on articulating problem statement, discuss with relevant client stakeholders and develop high level solution. Diagnostic/ Discovery/ AS - IS Assessment: Lead team of consultants in understanding AS-IS business process, analyze/capture client requirements and pain areas by conducting workshops if necessary. Perform high level fit-gap analysis and process changes, carry out benchmarking studies. Develop diagnostic reports, benchmark reports, process documents, fit gap analysis documentation and requirement documents Solution Evaluation and Recommendation: Lead team of consultants in coming out with solution alternatives and present recommended solution alternatives to the customer. Review solution options developed and suggest improvements for customer buy in. Architecture/Design/Detailing of processes: Studying and analyzing requirements to define solution alternatives; TO-BE process maps and other solution design deliverables. Provide improvements on detailed design to arrive at the finalized design for the proposed system. Development/Configuration: Configure the application in line with the design document; design a solution in line with the business/IT requirements. Plan activities for configurations and development with Program manager, product vendor for any product issues, review cross integration touch points. Work with customer to get requirement clarifications and user sign offs on key changes. Validation: Review test plans, test cases and test execution reports, help the team debug and resolve issues to ensure sufficient and adequate testing of system before delivery to customer. Deployment: Work with the customer to understand the deployment process and review or develop the deployment plan for program, resolve data migration issues, review sequencing of activities and functional and technical dependencies, develop contingency plan, review cut over plan and provide suggestions for improvement. Additionally, also work on Training and change management; knowledge transfer/ system appreciation; build and maintain process repository; issue resolution and project management.
