Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency. Incumbents perform journey level duties and may serve as a lead worker to lower level IT staff as assigned. This is a supervisory level for the Computer Operations function. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is undertaking a multi-year comprehensive transformation of its systems, environment, and business structure. This position will directly support this effort. This position will work closely with the AWS Team to maintain and enhance Cloud environments in AWS. Expected work output and skillset includes engineer, enhance, and maintain Cloud infrastructure, support Cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and efficiency, proactively build and maintain a broad knowledge of Cloud engineering trends and technology advancements.
