IT Program Manager - **Remote US**

The IT program manager will serve as the project and/or program manager for IT supported initiatives at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers
company. As a PM, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout. You will
work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• You will lead a portfolio of IT initiatives aimed at transforming and raising performance level of Varian business lines, business functions,
and regions
• You will team up with technical and business teams to deliver initiatives for integrated and intelligent value chain management
• You will organize inter-disciplinary teams (business& IT) to be able to manage complex business and technical risks
• You will support multi-functional teams of business experts in identifying and solving complex data and system dependencies

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Direct all phases of projects from inception through completionWork closely with project sponsor and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiativesThe program manager will also collaborate with other members of the PMO team to implement tools and processes to enable a high functioning, high impact, analytically driven IT organizationResponsible for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s)Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedulesEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionLead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services to ensure successful project executionProvide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall statusIdentify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specificationsWork with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the departmentAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders20% travel possible (national and international)

Education:

Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience.

Knowledge And Experience:
 

Advanced communication skills (Both oral and written)Advanced presentation skillsProficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g.,Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.Business process mapping, Value stream mappingSiemens Healthineers business and product linesSHS IT Service PortfolioVarian IT Service PortfolioIT Infrastructure services and architectureInformation security & data privacy as applicable in healthcare industryIT systems in a quality regulated medical environmentCurrent IT technologies and standardsITIL knowledge together with ITSM experienceWorking with Lean, Agile and/or CCPM methodologies

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:

Project Management experience within large/complex business driven projects; PMP or equivalent certification preferredExperience in working with C-level and senior leadershipVendor/supplier managementITIL Certification or process knowledge

The base pay range for this position is

Min $114,400 - Max $171,600

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
