Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications and enhancements to existing software in support of the achievement of business requirements as well as mentoring and leading junior staff members.

What you will be doing Analyzes, designs, codes, and tests software programs and applications. Leads efforts that research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.Collaborates with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing new software programs. Liaises with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving issues with software products or company systems. Analyzes and assess existing business systems and procedures. Leads the definition, development and documentation of application software business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications. Defines software development project plans, including scope, scheduling and implementation. Writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications accurately according to specifications.Designs, develops, and maintains data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Utilizes Azure Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analysis. Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights and support decision-making.Designs, develops, and maintains Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data integration and access.Ensures data quality, consistency, and security across all data platforms. Performs troubleshooting and performance tuning of data pipelines and systems.Designs, runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs to correct errors, isolate areas of improvement, and general debugging. Creates programming scripts to enhance functionality and performance of company applications. Administers critical analysis of test results and delivers solutions to problem items. Trains end users to operate new or modified programs. Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgradesInstall software products for end users as requiredActively develop, lead and guide junior team membersMaintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan. Supports published corporate policies. Performs additional assignments per management’s direction. What we are looking for Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field required.6+ years related experience required. Experience in data engineering or a related role preferred.Experience with Python, Spark, and other data processing frameworks preferred.Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) preferred.Advanced knowledge of current IT technologies, desktop hardware, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office products required. Specialized Skills: T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, C#, Python, Power BI, Database Administration, Azure Data Factory, Azure DatabricksIn-depth knowledge of Azure Data Lake, including best practices for data storage and retrieval.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and SQL databases.Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps and Git. Skilled with Azure Data and designing complex ETL workflows. Skilled with using Azure Databricks for big data processing and machine learning. Knowledge of API development using RESTful services and API management tools. Skilled in providing effective technical support and/or training.
