ResponsibilitiesSummary:
As an IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects to ensure congruency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The IT Project Coordinator must have experience managing projects from kick-off to go-live along with M&A expertise while delivering a sustainable integrations model. This role will also be responsible for leading and implementing new networking projects throughout the organization.
Essential Duties:
Deliver integration structure and scale in a high-growth M&A environment.Build extensive process maps and plans to ensure methodical sustainability.Establish strong partnerships with cross-functional team members for the successful delivery of projects.Manage third-party vendors during pre- and post-project transitions to drive effective milestone dates.Conduct effective vendor evaluations and risk assessments for both existing and prospective vendors.Ensure project activities and results are specifically assigned and agreed upon.Meet project objectives by providing systems that operate cost-effectively while maintaining set milestone dates.Minimize disruption of production systems through good coordination and effective project output integration with existing systems.Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team members to enhance their scope and capabilities.Keep all business parties informed of project progress and problems, particularly regarding needed changes in schedule, resources, or product.Escalate and provide options for all issues beyond scope and/or authority.Respond to problems in a timely and effective manner.Meet with business partners at all levels to gather project requirements.Develop and review functional and technical specification documents.Develop and review detailed test plans for system and user acceptance testing when needed.Ensures adherence to all NADG change management policies procedures related to implementation of changes or enhancement to production.Ensures applications are effectively “turned over” to IT operations/IT Service Desk with necessary documentation to operate all systems, including execution schedules, job descriptions, and data flow chartsEstablishes and tracks all requests for system enhancements and reports on project statusProvides off hours support of critical production applications as necessarySkills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKAs)Planning/organizing - the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plansQuality control - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure qualityDependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performanceProblem solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfullyInterpersonal Skills - the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new thingsOral communication - the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetingsWritten Communication - the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and can read and interpret written informationAdaptability - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events QualificationsSo How Can You “Fill” This Role?
