The job profile for this position is IT Project Management Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.
Provide expert content and professional leadership on complex IT Project Management assignments and projects;
• Manage and direct project teams of project managers, specialists, analysts and programmers to meet complex project objectives;
• Coordinate, schedule and assign project tasks and maintain working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT;
• Provide thought leadership within IT Project Management while working on broader projects, utilizing understanding of wider business;
• Review, evaluate and formulate project plans, schedules and budgets, to develop detailed work plans to ensure project success;
• Apply project development methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status;
• Allocate staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs;
• Identify and negotiate schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives;
• Organize and guide project operations through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry;
• Evaluate progress and report progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects;
• Work with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support; and
• Provide subject matter expertise while working collaboratively across project teams;
• Work from home benefit available.
• Up to 20% travel required per year.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Technology Lead, IT Specialist, Consultant or in a related occupation.
• Experience with providing functional analysis and business solutions to stakeholders;
• Experience with coordinating development and implementation of batch handling jobs and related SQL databases;
• Experience with Jira;
• Experience with implementing, resolving, and maintaining Network file system and firewall security issues;
• Experience with acting as coordinator during sprint rollouts to production;
• Experience with managing scrum ceremonies; and
• Experience with using: Cron, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System, Java, and PL/SQL.
