The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects arising in Scania Finance AOR (Asia Oceania Region).
This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring that project goals align with the organization’s strategic objectives
This role reports to Scania Finance AOR IS/IT Manager.
This is a 1-year contract position (with the high possibility of transfer to a permanent position).
Job ResponsibilitiesProject Management
• Define project objectives, scopes and timeline to support stakeholders to define business cases, and develop detailed plans for the project execution
• Identify stakeholders that could support projects with securing resources, assembling project working group members and clarifying roles to facilitate collaboration
• Lead ongoing and planned projects for SF AOR and markets, ensuring and controlling timelines, budgets, and project scopes as well as deliverable product’s quality while regularly reporting progress and issues to the functional manager and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across different markets to identify project issues, define process flows, analyze system impacts, and evaluate technical risks, supported by thorough documentation
• Project Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Budget Management: Estimate project costs and ensure the project stays within budget
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and incorporate feedback to adjust the project as needed
Job Profile:
• 4 years or more of project management experience, preferred in the banking or financial industry
• Experience in application management is preferred with strong data analysis plus points with infra-management of cloud services experience (AWS)
• Strong project management skills with a good understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, along with proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
