Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN.
Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing and directly managing technology projects. Ensures cybersecurity is built into projects to protect theorganization’s critical infrastructure and assets, reduce risk, and meet organizational goals. Tracks and communicates project status and demonstrates project value to the
organization. Actively manage multiple cybersecurity projectsCoordinate within department, project team, business unit managers, and with the project management office to achieve product-oriented outcomesCreate, revise, and execute project documentation: project management plans, communication plans, test plans, risk mitigation plans, and configuration management plansIdentify critical technology procurement requirementsConduct auditsIdentify and document supply chain risks for critical system elementsDefine and manage day to day performance of operating-level agreements (OLAs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) within the authorized limits of a Project Manager. Qualifications BS/BA and 5-10 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.5-10 years of project management or similar experience (experience managing to deliverables and milestones) of overseeing technology projectsKnowledge of Project Management methodologiesProject Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops, and Agile methodologiesKnowledge of: Cybersecurity and information technology (IT) security principles, practices, and requirementsRequirements analysis principles and practiceInformation technology (IT) architecture models and frameworksSystem life cycle management principles and practicesTechnology procurement principles and practicesCloud computing principles and practicesThe acquisition life cycle models and frameworksSkills in:Performing capabilities and requirements analysisPerforming administrative planning activitiesCommunicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersPerforming needs analysisTeam building and leading integrated product teams
