Description 
Lead the activities of VWGoA IT projects to ensure that they are accomplished on time, within budget and with high quality. Work with the business and IT&S stakeholders to ensure that project goals are accomplished in line with business objectives. The individual will be responsible to ensure that project work packages are delivered in adherence to internal standards and strategies. 

Position Responsibilities 
• Leads all aspects of requirements definition, systems analysis, design, development, deployment and enhancement for mission-critical projects for After Sales Business Units. 
• Acts as a trusted advisor to the business stakeholders, understanding the business need and bringing forward innovative solutions. This role is the liaison between IT and Business. 
• Manages project finances to ensure appropriate use of funding to achieve project objectives. 
• Provides positive and effective direction to project team members, and integrates activities with other business and IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. 
• Successfully manages multiple engagements simultaneously. 
• Anticipates and escalates issues inhibiting the attainment of project goals; recommends corrective actions to the VWGoA Integration Manager as necessary. 
• Reviews project deliverables for compliance with VWGoA standards and ensures that all PMO methodology requirements are met. 

Skills and Experience Required 
• 7 - 10+ years of project responsibility as a project manager, demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing dispersed technical staff. 
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of the project lifecycle 
• Knowledgeable in multiple IT project methodologies including waterfall and agile methods. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline, high-performance work teams and development group 
• Advanced skills using MS Project and MS Project Server. Must have significant experience with specifically MS Project. 
• Experience with managing complex project financials.

Educational Requirements: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required (Master's degree or equivalent is desirable) 
• PMP certification is required.
