Position SummaryThe IT Project Manager will be a part of an agile IT team that is responsible for delivering projects within established goals for quality, timelines, and budget. The individual must demonstrate an ability to manage complex projects across multiple departments, schedule work within sprints, and effectively communicate project updates.
This position can be hybrid, but must be local to the Des Moines metro/surrounding area to come onsite to our Ankeny headquarters 2-3 times per week.

This includes, but IS NOT LIMITED TO: F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J-1, etc.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toCreate long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlinesFoster and build relationships with department leaders, end users, and vendors Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete themMake effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the projectIdentify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project teamUnderstand the intended outcomes of the project and ensure the outcomes are realistic and measurableEnsure clear communication among everyone involved in the projectEnsure individuals within a project are self-organizingAbility to write project charters and clear agile stories Align with developers to estimate project and story effortServe as a point of contact for teams to ensure team actions remain in synergyPerform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expectedAdjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changeRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience3 years’ experience working in IT Project Management role Demonstrated successful leadership of all sizes of projectsExcellent verbal, written, and communication skillsExperience with scheduling development work within sprints Build respectful, positive, and collaborative relationships within the business and IT teamInfluence team accountability as appropriateNavigate a project thru a matrix organization for successful outcomeFluency with all MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointProject management or agile certificationTravel as neededPreferred Skills and ExperienceProject management or agile certificationExperience using Azure DevOps, or similar management systemExperience working in the healthcare, manufacturing, or food production industryExperience implementing CRM and/or ERP systemsPhysical RequirementsRepetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersSedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periodsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusCompany Overview
