SUMMARY

The IT Project Manager is responsible for Managing IT Projects including Software Reviews and Facilitating projects including the software and hardware review process.  This position is based in McLean, Virginia. However, candidates in other locations and meeting the requirements below may be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage IT Projects including Software Reviews Facilitate projects including the software and hardware review process.  Key areas of focus and responsibilities include:

Monitor and manage Software & Hardware Review requests submitted by division businesses to ensure compliance with IT Policies Facilitate requests for review of new applications to ensure compliance with our use & risk policies Work collaboratively with businesses, IT, Security and Legal departments during the review process Confirm submissions for review are in valid formats and comply with review policies Manage meetings with businesses, IT, Security & Legal to facilitate reviews as needed Provide guidance to businesses on the software and hardware selection process including how to interpret early engagement details Assist businesses with communicating review requirements to vendors and validating vendor responses are appropriate Work with EMCOR IT and Security to help maintain business compliance with IT and Security policies Facilitate and manage the Application Software Inventory list for ECS businesses for information sharing and audit purposes Provide guidance to business field services on approved applications to meet their operational needs Facilitate and manage reviews of IT-based SOWs, contract renewals and consulting agreements with IT, Security and Legal teams Provide reporting as required to executives, management and team leaders on Security, IT and other areas of compliance Manage and participate in IT projects as needed to implement Corporate initiatives Attend regular conference calls with EMCOR IT & Security Other duties as assigned by the ECS Vice President, Information Technology

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Ten (10) years of progressive IT experience, including at least five (5) years of experience with IT vendor interaction and project management. Experience should demonstrate ability to work effectively independently and in teams. At least five (5) years of experience participating in review, management and reporting on complex IT projects At least two (2) years of experience with software and software agreement reviews from the Legal and Security perspectives Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 knowledge Network infrastructure, Active Directory & IT security knowledge Working knowledge of software deployment types including on-premise and SaaS Working knowledge of Power BI and Power Apps usage Participation in occasional after-hours IT activities Ability to travel infrequently as business need arises

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
