IT Project Manager roles exist throughout the P&G organization and own the delivery of every major change to the company’s digitized operations. These roles range from foundational IT infrastructure, facilities, workstations, and transactional systems of record to business analytics, data science, and business-unit embedded roles. This role is often a full-time role for larger projects or can be a multiple-hat role in which you are leading more than one project at a time.
For this internship, you would be in Cincinnati, Ohio for the duration of the summer.
Leading IT project teams to deliver projects that build business value. This includes planning and estimating the work, leading execution, presenting inside and outside the project, and delivering to agreed project specifications. In this role, you would apply relevant practices and methods to optimize project efficiency and speed. You would lead changes in specifications and plans while also following compliance requirements. IT Project Managers at P&G will often become capable in multiple project methods including sequential/waterfall projects, Agile projects, and hybrid methods. The level of experience correlates to the breadth of responsibility, for example a junior project leader might be responsible for a small project or a portion of a larger project, while a senior project leader could be defining and leading the company's largest value, most sophisticated, and most business-critical projects.
Job Qualifications
In process of obtaining a BS or MS/MBA in Computer Science, Business/Management Information Systems, Computer/Systems/Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research or Statistics.Project Management Fundamentals (Communications, Organizational change, Customer management, Financials management, Scheduling, etc.).Knowledge of scaling agile methods and/or Hybrid PM models-Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with and influence project managers, board members, project partners, etc.Strong EQ and leadership skills to move the work forward even in stressful or demanding situations.Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze multiple sources of data, requirements, and priorities and produce the best possible scenario to accelerate project completion and value delivery.Self-starter: Ability to generate own ideas and proposals, and to adjust an adapt strategy as needed.Excellent attention to detail. Committed to implement with an important level of end-to-end accountability, quality, and agility.Collaboration skills and ability to actively engage up, down, and across the organization.Highly proactive way of working.Growth Mindset: intrinsically motivated to be a life-long learner.Ability to mentor others on project management skills, or other domain skills required for successful project/program completion.You must be available during the Summer of 2025 between Mid/ Late May through early AugustMust be graduating December 2026 or later to be eligible.Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
