About Cadia
Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometers from Orange and 250 kilometers west of Sydney. Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit. The operation includes the Cadia East Mine which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large-scale underground mining method.

Reporting to the Lead Portfolio Management, the IT Project Professional will Project Manage IT infrastructure projects across the Australia Pacific region. The position is a site focussed role and will require site travel to our Australian sites along with our PNG Lihir site. Projects may include but not limited to, network expansions, access control systems, fleet management systems and CCTV.
Key responsibilities include: Support the implementation and maintenance of professional applications used within the organizationPrepare and present project schedules, required Project Management documentation, status reports, and cost/ benefits analysis for project stakeholdersManage and implementation of technology projects and initiatives across the BU.Assist with the configuration and customization of applications to meet the specific needs of the businessExecute testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the functionality and security of applicationsProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of professional applicationsCollate feedback from users to continually enhance digital data services.Implement and maintain portfolio handling processes and tools.Administer the allocation and reallocation of resources across the project portfolio.
The ideal candidate will understand the capital request process and possess exceptional interpersonal skills, being able to collaborate and communicate well with other functions.
You will also possess the following:Diploma in IT Project Management – Highly regarded Experience in a similar IT Project Management position Understanding of and experience with Project Management portfolios
Please note: This is a remote hybrid position based in Australia with the requirement for site travel, as required.
