**Job Purpose or Objective:** You will develop and improve quality management processes, testing/quality assurance environments and release of IT solutions to production environments. Also accountable for ensuring quality assurance practices/testing procedures are followed, release/project deadlines are achieved, and quality standards are maintained. Work directly with all departments involved in the quality lifecycle to oversee all testing efforts and ensure overall product quality and quality related customer expectations are met. You will report to the Director of IT Operations. **Primary Tasks:** 1. Establish and implement quality metrics, practices and reporting standards to improve the QA process in use by the IT organization. 2. Provide training and mentorship to associates to enhance their understanding of quality principles, practices, and methodologies. 3. Lead the development of test strategies and planning approaches for organizational solutions providing leadership with recommendations on needed actions to improve quality. 4. Manage assigned IT QA resources. 5. Manage quality assurance timelines and testing efforts to meet committed delivery dates. 6. Manage IT solution quality assurance issues by orchestrating resources, such as software development, technical service engineers, system and network engineers, and application support to resolve issues. 7. Manage IT lab and test environments to ensure resources are available to comply with quality standards and testing of requirements for solutions. Deconflicts competing requests for resources by managing environment schedules. 8. You will be the subject matter resource for IT quality by taking the initiative to stay current on evolving quality assurance and related industry best practices. 9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned. **Minimum Requirements:** + Associates' degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or a related field or two years related work experience + 5 years of direct experience in an IT quality assurance role + 3 years of experience in a lead role or management position (directly related to quality assurance) + Strong understanding of software life cycles, software quality assurance processes and automated tools + Demonstrated experience achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process/product quality and reliability + Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully across diverse audiences and teams About the Choctaw Nation The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States, with over 200,000 tribal members and more than 11,000 employees.
