**IT** **Quality** **Testing Delivery** **Intern**
Our IT Division has an opportunity for a rising **J** **unior** or **S** **enior** college summer intern to join the **IT Quality, Testing** **Delivery** team.
The Quality and Testing Delivery team provides centralized quality and release management, by utilizing industry expertise while partnering with a managed services partner.
**What** **You’ll** **Do**
In this dynamic role on the **IT** **Quality** **, Testing and** **Service Delivery** team, you will have the opportunity to see the software development life cycle come to life as you gain exposure to the design, development, testing, and production stages here at Blue Cross NC. You will learn about how this team oversees, coordinates and reviews all assigned vendor technical activities and workstreams of work products across IT to ensure that high quality solutions are delivered according to the established schedule.
You will work alongside IT Vendor Test Delivery Managers to see how members of the team act as liaisons as they communicate and coordinate between IT, business stakeholders and project team members. You will also gain experience in learning how to monitor vendor performance to ensure quality levels and other performance agreements are met.
**What You Bring **
+ You will be a rising Junior or Senior at an accredited university or college in May 2025.
+ Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and current technologies.
+ Basic understanding of agile methodologies.
+ Curiosity, drive and the ability to work independently and in a team.
+ Great time management, organizational and communication skills.

**Intern rates of pay:**
Undergraduates: Rising Sophomore: $18/hr
Undergraduates: Rising Junior/Senior: $21/hr
Returning Interns: $23/hr
Masters Students/JD: $27/hr
MBA Students/PharmD: $36/hr
**Salary Range**
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
