And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come. **Context:** Inside the Syensqo Information Technologies (IT) department, within the Connected Research and Sustainability platform, scope service delivery services and value creation, the IT service owner delivers support services for Research Innovation and sustainability solutions for Syensqo. As part of the team responsibilities, we are managing a wide range of solutions to support R&I and Syensqo businesses. **We are looking for:** The IT R&I and sustainability service owner plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company's portfolio of applications for scientific and sustainability domains. This position requires a deep understanding of end-user and stakeholder needs, as well as technical expertise to select, deploy, and maintain a wide range of specialized applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing application usage, performance, scalability, and compliance, while ensuring high-level user support. Key Responsibilities + Support, manage and organize operations for sustainability applications portfolio + Actively participate in the operational maintenance of applications, manage updates, security patches, and compatibility issues. Manage operations and participate in continuous improvement processes. + Monitor license consumption, lead the process of purchasing new software, and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. + Write and update technical manuals, support procedures, and knowledge articles. Ensure users have access to up-to-date training resources and documentation. + Use monitoring tools to track the health, performance, and usage of applications. Generate regular reports to inform management and optimization decisions. **We count on you for:** + Business Continuity: + Being accountable for the good functioning of the solutions in production + Being the service contact, to listen and understand the needs of the users + Coordinating with other IT teams such as Data, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, other Business IT teams (Digital operations, Connected research, …) to deliver value to our customers. + Manage relationships with software vendors to ensure support and business continuity. + Delivering professional services and ensuring data quality (Ticket management, inventory updates, …) with respect to the SLAs in place. + Service evolution Lifecycle: + Maintaining knowledge (functional & technical) about the service + Participating to service continuous improvement initiatives + Participating in the team’s life by sharing knowledge and collaborate with your peers + Innovating and propose new solutions or improvements **You will bring:** _Hard skills_ + Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in managing IT applications. + Deep knowledge of applications IT components + Knowledge of IT technologies, Network, Hosting landscapes, Cybersecurity, Databases + Workstations & Identity management tools (Active Directory, Intune, …) + ITSM tool and related processes (BMC Helix preferable) + Data and development platforms & languages + Knowledge of Sustainability solutions _Soft skills_ + Excellent project coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. + Strong analytical skills with an ability to creatively solve complex problems. + Commitment to user satisfaction and continuous improvement of IT services. + Ability to work autonomously while driving initiatives and projects to success. + Self-motivated, very good organizational skills + Demonstrated ability to acquire new skills on the job + Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively + Open-mindedness and curiosity **Additional information:** + Remote working is allowed + Fluent English + Location: All About us + Syensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
