Job overview and responsibilities

The PMO Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the ERP Rebuild Project Management Office by assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various aspects of the overall project. This role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to project management standards and methodologies. The PMO Coordinator works closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to facilitate effective project delivery.


 

Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects. Provide administrative support and coordination for project-related activities. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and performance metrics. Resource Coordination: Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to ensure project teams have the necessary resources to meet project objectives. Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and the PMO. Organize and participate in project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Process Improvement: Support the development and implementation of project management processes, standards, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Risk and Issue Management: Assist in identifying, tracking, and managing project risks and issues. Support the development of mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Tool and System Management: Assist in the administration and maintenance of project management tools and systems. Provide training and support to project teams in using these tools effectively.

 

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Experience in project coordination or administration, preferably within a PMO environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello). Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
