IT Risk and Compliance Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated IT Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team in the banking industry in Hanover, Massachusetts. As an IT Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will be tasked with overseeing the IT audit process, developing and implementing advanced process controls, and ensuring compliance with established KPIs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the IT audit process to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Develop and implement advanced process controls to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with established KPIs to measure and improve performance
• Monitor IT risk and compliance issues and take appropriate action
• Maintain accurate records of IT risk and compliance activities
• Identify and address potential IT risk and compliance issues
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistent application of IT risk and compliance policies and procedures
• Provide training and guidance to staff on IT risk and compliance issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments in IT risk and compliance
• Participate in the development and implementation of IT risk and compliance strategies. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of compliance regulations and standards within the banking industry.
• Proven experience in IT Audit, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Proficiency in implementing advanced process controls, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Demonstrable experience in managing process controls, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex IT compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze large volumes of data to identify potential risks.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Ability to stay abreast with the latest industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact the organization's IT compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Detail oriented certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are highly desirable. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
