Key Responsibilities:

SAP BASIS Administration:

Install, configure, maintain, and monitor SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.).Manage SAP system performance, tuning, and troubleshooting.Perform system upgrades, patching, and database administration for SAP environments.Manage SAP transport requests, system copies, backups, and recovery operations.Maintain and monitor SAP security, user access, and authorizations.Collaborate with functional teams and other IT staff to resolve SAP-related issues.

Application Access Support:

Manage user access for various enterprise applications, ensuring permissions align with security policies.Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues in SAP and other applications.Coordinate with system owners to ensure compliance with security and access policies.Assist in audits by providing detailed reports on user access and security settings.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to user access and data security.Collaborate with the security team to implement and monitor security best practices.Regularly review and update security policies, user roles, and access permissions.

System Monitoring & Maintenance:

Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security of SAP and other critical applications.Implement automation for repetitive tasks to ensure efficient system management.Identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues before they impact business operations.

 Collaboration & Support:

Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP BASIS and other enterprise applications.Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage system upgrades and enhancements.Document processes, procedures, and solutions for easy access by the team.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience.Experience with SAP security and user management.Familiarity with databases (EX:SQL) and operating systems (Linux, Windows).Experience with SAP ECC 6 is a plus.Strong understanding of IT security principles and user access controls.Knowledge of enterprise application access management and troubleshooting.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

SAP certifications (BASIS, Security).Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
