IT Security Engineer

The IT Security Engineer protects an organization’s digital assets by designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to mitigate risks and safeguard data from cyber threats.
**Your role:**
+ Develop and implement security measures, policies, and best practices to protect IT infrastructure, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats.
+ Works closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, software development, compliance, and executive leadership, to ensure a secure environment.
+ Conducts security assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response while continuously monitoring systems for potential risks.
+ Offers opportunities for professional growth in cloud security, ethical hacking, and cybersecurity certifications (Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Ethical Hacker).
**You're the right fit if:**
+ You've acquired 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT risk management.
+ Your skills include SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and cloud security (AWS and Azure). (Bonus: Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.)
+ You have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
+ You're an analytical self-motivated problem solver with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with diverse teams.
**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

**Philips Transparency Details**
The pay range for this position in Pennsylvania is $96,863 to $154,980 annually.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
