The IT Cybersecurity organization in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Summer 2024 IT Security Intern. In this role you will safeguard the corporation against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction or disclosure. You will also provide technical and hands-on assistance with the design, implementation and operations of platforms and tools used by the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response Team (IRT).

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor the environment for suspicious and malicious activity using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) toolsetsDocument security events and incidents within internal ticketing systemAnalyze cyber threat intelligence reportsInvestigate suspicious email submissionsAssist in implementing, operating and maintaining mission critical cybersecurity tools

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
